Testing

We offer a broad range of routine and non-routine tests for determining the composition, structure, and properties of materials and components, and the cause of a material or process failure. You can be assured that the data we gather is accurate and reliable, because all testing conforms to the stringent requirements of our industry-leading quality assurance program.

Analysis

Once discovered, the source of a problem needs to be proven. We start with a symptom - cracked metal, lubricants that stick, coatings that don't, a material that is softer than it should be. Our experience and insight enable us to home in on the problem, asking the right questions and formulating a testing path and investigation plan.

Consulting

M+P's experts can provide comprehensive consultation and problem-solving -- in the lab, at your site, or in the field -- for designing further investigations and for identifying solutions. Materials may not be the source of the problem. Sometimes the issue lies in the processes used to handle them. Whatever the problem, the insightful creativity of our experts, rooted in years of experience, enables us to make the leap from a collection of data to a comprehensive solution.

M+P Labs is a leader in Quality Assurance. The rigorous quality assurance requirements mandated by ISO 17025, Nadcap (aerospace and defense industry) and 10 CFR 50 Appendix B (nuclear utility industry) are applied to each and every job we perform, regardless of whether it requires conformance to any of these accreditations. We also maintain a GE Aviation Special Process Certification to perform S-400 test codes and coating thickness evaluations.
