M+P Labs has Announced the Appointment of a New Metallurgist at the Greenville, SC, Facility
Joseph (Jay) Jackson has been hired as a Senior Metallurgist, with significant background and expertise in metals processing, manufacturing methods, and resolving complex manufacturing problems.
Prior to joining M+P Labs, he was employed by GE Energy in Greenville, GE Aircraft Engines in Lynn, MA, and Evendale, OH, as well as Pratt & Whitney Aircraft in East Hartford, CT. Among his duties at these companies, he was responsible for qualifying metals processing suppliers, delivering new products and processes, and materials and alloy development. Jay holds a B.S. in Metallurgical Engineering from Rensselaer Polytechnic Institute in Troy, NY, and an M.S. in Materials Engineering from Cornell University in Ithaca, NY.
"Jay joins our team with rich experience in our core competence of metallurgical evaluations and failure analyses, which allows us to meet an ever-increasing demand for our services in the southeast region", said Joe Beagle, M+P Labs' Greenville Division Manager.
